Lydia's Blunder
I must say I was just beginning to enjoy the silence in my house now that Lydia is gone (aside from Kitty’s constant sobbing, or at least whimpering). However, now I’m to discover that she has run off with a soldier! Nonetheless, a soldier (Wickham) I was beginning to trust. I can’t believe the trouble that dim-witted girl has gotten herself into, and I must now run in pursuit of her, in an attempt to save her and, hopefully, her reputation as well. Lizzy was right and I should have listened to her when she warned me!
Like they say, good things do not last forever. What a disastrous situation! Hopefully you do find her and bring her back. Yes, I was right. Maybe next time what I say should be taken into consideration. Anyways, I hope she will be back soon safe and sound.
ReplyDeleteI do hope that you are not to late once you find Lydia. We all know that she is not a very strong young lady and is easily roped into doing things she isn't supposed to. It also seems as though Wickham is good at roping people into those types of situations. Take Mr. Darcy for example.
